Inside a Little Origins Experience
Every Little Origins experience is thoughtfully designed to support child development through play while fostering exploration, creativity, and connection.
-
Sensory play encourages children to explore, investigate, and make sense of the world around them through hands-on experiences. As they scoop, pour, sort, and discover, they are building fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, language, and confidence. These experiences also support focus, self-regulation, and independent exploration.
-
Process art values creativity over perfection. Children are encouraged to experiment, make choices, and express their ideas freely without worrying about a specific outcome. Through open-ended exploration, children build confidence, flexibility, and decision-making skills while discovering new ways to create and express themselves.
-
Collaborative art experiences invite children and grown-ups to work together on murals, group projects, and shared art invitation. By creating alongside others, children have opportunities to practice cooperation, communication, and turn-taking while sharing ideas, contributing to a collective creation and working together toward a shared project.
-
Children are encouraged to investigate, build, observe, and ask questions through open-ended invitations to play. Through hands-on experiences, children develop problem-solving skills, flexible thinking, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
-
Little Origins is designed to create opportunities for children and their grown-ups to engage together through play, creativity, and shared experiences. These moments encourage connection, strengthen relationships, and create space for families to slow down, engage together, and connect with other children and families.
